Each year, we gather to spotlight the ventures, technologies, and creative talent shaping Northern Michigan’s future—and to connect the people bold enough to build it.

What began in 2013 as a small Startup Weekend has grown into a vibrant, week-long celebration of innovation. Today, NMSW convenes leaders and emerging entrepreneurs from across the region to share hard-won lessons, showcase local companies and resources, and spark collaborations that endure long after the week ends.
